A Week Off

School has been shut down all week, and the current plan is to reopen on Monday.  Who doesn't love a week off during the end of January!  Not working this week has actually been driving me crazy!  I have gone in several times and spent quite a bit of time trying to find a new 'home'.  Mission accomplished!  One of the wonderful Speech Language Assistants in my building is letting me squeeze into her office. It is cozy, but it works!  Everything is so much brighter when you have a dedicated spot to drop your coat first thing in the morning!

On to today...

I had BIG plans for today:

1) Get showered and dressed
2) Go to work
3) Dig through my boxes of files and try to find files for kids who need to have evaluations written up or IEPs completed.
4) Write up these evaluations and complete IEPs
5) Catch up on medicaid billing...(maybe)

What actually happened:

1) Got showered and dressed

Yes, that is the extent of it.  Tomorrow I will make the grand attempt of digging through to find the paperwork that needs to be completed!  Like I said...who doesn't love time off during the end of January!  :)

I did spend time doing a lot of cutting today.  As you can see in the pictures, I have a TON of downloads from TpT that I finally cut apart to be used!

Included in these piles (yes, there are more....) are activities from Sublime Speech, Speech Room News, A Speechies World, Carrie's Speech Corner, and If only I Had Superpowers.  All of these activities are awesome.

I will be sure to write about these activities as I use them.

If you read my previous post, you will know that my school lost a great deal of materials last weekend when a pipe burst.  I created a small project with donorschoose.org in hopes of being able to get some materials back.  Here is the link to my project.  Every dollar helps, as does every share, and every tweet.  If you choose to donate, please use the code INSPIRE.  Your donation will be matched dollar for dollar until February 7th!

I want to thank the SLP blogging community for their support!  To have so many people come together to help out a fellow SLP is amazing!  I appreciate each and every one of you, and I hope to one day pay it back!

Thanks all!! Happy almost weekend:)

    1. LOL! It is the only way I can keep things organized:). If I download a pack, I like to keep it all together, so I use different colors for different targets within the pack. Makes it easier to grab and go:)
